As an essential service Randwick Waverley Community Transport Group (RWCTG) have continued to provide transport throughout the COVID 19 pandemic. Our online shopping and connection calls that we implemented during the lockdown period continue, however, have been scaled back.

We have been providing Social trips in July, however due to the current situation and with our priority being our communities safety, we have decided to postpone Augusts Social trips. This decision will be reviewed mid month and hopefully, the current risks will have reduced to a level, where we will be in a position to resume these trips come September.

Also, from 31st of July, under advice from NSW Health, all staff will be wearing masks while providing a service to our clients, this will continue until further notice.

We will continue to adhere to other relevant health advice, including social distancing within vehicles, having all PPE on hand and disinfecting vehicles, so our service may look a little different and some capacity may become limited.

We would like to remind you that our notification calls carry the following message: In the interest of our communities safety, we will be asking for your consent to check your temperature prior to entering our vehicles. If your temperature exceeds 37.5 Degrees, we will ask you to please stay at home. Also, if you are experiencing flu like symptoms or are unwell please stay at home. Thank you

As always we prioritise the health and safety of our clients, carers and team, we will you keep you updated as advice changes.
