After visiting 5 different Community Transports Frank finally found his heroes. Frank visited several community transport offices looking for the community transport bus that came to his rescue earlier this year.
Frank was heading south west on the M5, had just come out of the tunnel underneath the runway at Mascot. He was travelling in the left lane when a truck alongside him in the right lane moved over to his lane and struck Frank’s vehicle . Frank’s vehicle spun around, struck the guard rail and ended sideways in front of the truck when it then “T boned” the driver’s side. Our community transport vehicle, full of clients on a social trip, immediately stopped and rendered assistance to Frank. Our driver Steve and bus assistant Angie helped Frank out of his vehicle and moved the car to a safer place. Our driver Steve then helped Frank back in our bus for comfort and stayed with him until emergency services arrived. Frank was taken away in an ambulance with a broken sternum. Thankfully, he has made a full recovery
Frank was very grateful that Steve and Angie, from the RWCTG team, took the time to stop and assist at the scene of the accident. We wish to thank Frank for making the effort
