Randwick Waverley Community Transport is now a Registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Service Provider.
We are the leading Eastern Suburbs aged & frail MyAgedCare as well as NDIS Disability Access Services. We offer our expertise to people who wish to safely access assistance to their community, social and recreational activities.
Expertise. Safety is paramount for our staff and our passengers. We are accredited under NSW Disability Standards. Our staff are trained in safe driving, manual, handling, first aid, disability awareness and dementia awareness. Staff have met compliance checks in covid-19 PPE and social distancing training and are fully vaccinated. Staff are criminal history checked and working with children compliant. Drivers are accredited with Transport for NSW Point to Point regulations.
Our safety protocols and risk assessment process ensure participants are assessed for ‘person to person’ trip assistance, so that participants are not left alone or unsupervised. We do not assume that passengers are traffic aware or travel trained or can find their own way at their destination.
We offer you a range of transport and mobility services to assist support coordinators, participants and their families. We are happy to provide NDIS cost estimates, and service agreements to you for your Community Participation component of your NDIS plan.
Out of hours assistance services may be provided by Mobility as a Service (MaaS) NDIS Service Agreement. We may use subcontractor service providers. This is currently 13cabs. This allows 24/7 assistance availability.
Plan Reviews: We can assist you with your annual NDIS plan review by providing NDIS cost estimates. We provide you, your support coordinator and the NDIA planner with evidence of your actual service use. This helps to estimate your future assistance needs and NDIS support budget.
